L'anniversaire de mes parents avec une grande fête familiale ! My parents' birthday with a big family party !

Quel plaisir de revoir tous les oncles, tantes, cousins et cousines éloignés… It was such a pleasure to meet again uncles, aunts and cousins far away…
J'en ai profité pour apporter le "nouveau" couvre-lit à mes parents !! I took the opportunity to bring the "new" cover bed to my parents !!

Il est enfin terminé ! quilté (par Simone Struss) et biaisé It is at last finished ! quilted (by Simone Struss) and binded
commencé en 2003…. heureusement fini en 2016…. started in 2003…. and happily finished in 2016 ….
Un patch immense ! So huge !

C'est mon onzième ouvrage oublié tout de même que je réussi à terminer grâce au blog  "Nos Ouvrages Oubliés" This my eleventh quilt that I can finish with the help of the blog "Nos Ouvrages Oubliés"
Du coup, je me suis autorisé…

Après un en-cours, ça fait du bien de finir aussi un Ouvrage Oublié !! After a WIP it's good to finish an UFO too !!
Et voilà !!
C'est un couvre-lit 2 personnes… donc immense !! This is a cover bed for 2 people….so it's huge !!
Prochaine étape : La Bresse pour un quilting machine !! Next step : machine quilting !!

Au cours de mon déménagement, j'ai retrouvé (parmi d'autres !!) ce couvre lit ! "Pansy Park", modèle de Thimbleberry  While moving my working room I discovered this bed cover (one of many !!) "Pansy Park" a Thimbleberry pattern
Après avoir réaliser celui-ci qui m'a tenu bien chaud depuis des années, After having made this one that keeps me warm for years

je m'étais lancée dans cette nouvelle aventure en bloc du mois avec "Les 4 saisons du Patchwork",  boutique dijonnaise. I started this new one with a BOM at the shop "Les 4 saisons du Patchwork"(The four seasons of Patchwork)
Je me suis arrêtée là ….. en 2003 !!! (quand même !) I stopped there…. in 2003 !!! (!)
