Il y a déjà quelques temps, notre bonne fée du patch Coco avait publié un article sur différents QAL, autrement dit Quilt Along ou quiltons ensemble... Some times ago our nice quilting fairy Coco published an article about different QAL on her blog... J'avais immédiatement flashé sur le modèle proposé par Yvonne Fuchs ou Quilting Jetgirl ! I immediately had a crush on Yvonne Fuchs aka  Quilting Jetgirl  pattern ! Yvonne est une designer américaine de quilts modernes. Un  de ses modèles est paru dans le Simply Moderne de Quiltmania n°9 : Yvonne is an American designer of modern quilt. There was one of her pattern in Quiltmania Simply Modern n°9 : J'ai tout de suite imaginé le beau quilt proposé pour le QAL sur le mur de ma chambre At once I could see the beautiful quilt proposed for the QAL on my bedroom wall Simple mais avec un magnifique travail de transparence simple with a wonderful work on transparency  ...

Les débuts de la retraite sont prometteurs ! First days of retirement seem promising ! J'ai déjà pu finir le projet n°1 commencé à Ramonchamps ! I have already managed to finish the n°1 project that I had started at Ramonchamps ! Merci Anne-Marie pour nous avoir initié à joli napperon-fleur ! Thank you Anne-Marie to show us this lovely flower-placemat !

Octobre fut riche en émotions !! October was high on emotions !! Le summum a été ma fête de départ à la retraite... The highlight was my retirement party ... Mille merci à mes collègues qui m'ont offert une très belle fête ! A thousand thank you for my colleagues : it was wonderful ! Avec tout ça, je ne sais pas comment mais j'ai tout de même réussi à finir le top du Gossip !! And I don't know how but I manage to finish my Gossip top !!

Un beau mariage... A beautiful wedding... Puis un week-end patch avec Fil à Gogo... Then a quilting week-end with Fil à Gogo ... 2 projets proposés : 2 projects were proposed : Grâce à l'aide et aux bons conseils de Anne-Marie, certaines ont pu terminé une oeuvre ! Thanks to Anne-Marie a few of us managed to finish one work ! Nous avons profité de l'occasion pour offrir le quilt réalisé collectivement pour l'expo de Eschau à  notre présidente Elisabeth We took advantage of our meeting to give the quilt we all made for the Eschau exhibition to our president Elisabeth et nous avons reçu chacune un petit bout du tissu choisi pour notre échange de Noël ! and we got each one little piece of fabric chosen for our Christmas swap ! Et ce week-end c'était mon anniversaire ! And this week-end was my birthday ! Boxman m'a offert un beau bouquet : Boxman gave me these beautiful flo...

Sortie familiale de Fil à Gogo dans les Vosges ce samedi ! Fil à Gogo was going to the Vosges with family this Saturday ! La pente était rude mais nous avons apprécié le paysage The slope was rough but the landscape was beautiful et la ferme auberge !! and the farm-inn was great also !! Nous avons passé un excellent moment avec conjoints et enfants ! We spent a lovely time with our husbands and children ! Et j'ai enfin trouvé un peu de temps pour coudre !! And I finally had a little time to sew !! La bande du haut de mon Gossip est mise avec bien du mal pour les angles... I put the top row on my Gossip with some difficulties to make the corners... Bon, j'en vois le bout !! I'm near the end !!

Un peu dépassée par les évènements, je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de vous raconter Ste Marie... Overtaken by events I haven't had time to talk about Ste Marie... Une semaine de boulot et je suis repartie tout le week-end à Eschau pour  la première rencontre inter-clubs du Grand Est  organisé par  l'association Au Fil de l'Est !! A working week and then off I go to Eschau to the first meeting of craft clubs of the north-east of France organized by Au Fil de l'Est !! Voici le stand de Fil à Gogo : Here is Fil à Gogo booth : avec le trio de choc : Claude , Michèle et moi-même pour représenter fièrement notre club ! the three of us to represent proudly our club : Claude , Michèle and I ! Il y avait de magnifiques réalisations en broderie, cartonnage et patch admirées par des milliers de visiteurs !! There were so many wonderful works of embroidery, card boarding and quilting admired by thousand  visitors !! No...
